Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

This charming Cape Cod-style cottage offers tranquil and private country-style accommodation. Breakfast is included, featuring a selection of muesli, yogurt, toast, and spreads. Parking for boat trailers if required and tips on fishing spots gladly provided. The unit is neat as a pin, has a smart TV, kitchen with coffee, tea, milk, bread, cereals, butter, jam and vegemite ; fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frying pan, air fryer, toasted sandwich maker and bench top oven

We have a lovely, spacious one bedroom Apartment, with large shower and separate toilet, in the lovely quiet and safe village of Te Kowhai, with a Café, Dairy, Fruit/Vegetable and Fish and Chip shop, all within a 2 minute walk. The Apartment is self contained with separate entry and carport and plenty of parking for visitors. Apartment is cleaned to recommended COVID19 standards. Key will be left inside and the apartment unlocked. Please note our listing is not suitable for pets.

Welcome. Kia ora. Relax at Pippis Place in this small, modern, self contained studio space below the main house. Or you can chill out in your own private outdoor area with a glass of wine, and watch water views filling the horizon. Only 2 minutes by car, or about a 20minute walk to cafes, beaches and the shops. Pippi cat extends a welcoming paw to you, although she can be shy to show herself.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
