Hidden away on a beautiful private estate in the Scottish Borders, Garden Cottage is a charming stone retreat for up to four guests. Overlooking a walled garden and close to the River Tweed, it’s perfect for walkers, cyclists, and anyone seeking fresh air and relaxation. From the doorstep, you can join scenic trails and connect to the Southern Upland Way. Enjoy tennis, fishing, and easy access to Glentress Mountain Biking Centre, or take a short train ride into Edinburgh for a day in the city.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

The cottage is ideal for exploring Edinburgh and Fife. With St Andrews only 75 minutes from the property, this is an ideal retreat for any golfer. Murrayfield Stadium is only 30 minutes away for concert goers and sporting fans. There are two lovely local pubs which also serve food.

The Tanhouse Studio is a truly unique property right in the heart of the historic village of Culross; one of the most charming villages in Scotland. Steeped in history, blessed with incredible views, galleries, an abbey, a castle, a palace, cafes, and most importantly a pub(!), it is the perfect location for a relaxing break. The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
