No.1 The Courtyard is nestled just outside the village of Tincleton and was originally part of the servant’s accommodation to Clyffe House (1842). We are situated 6 miles from Dorchester, and within easy reach of many Dorset attractions; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, The Purbeck Hills, Kimmeridge, Southwest Coastal Path, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage.

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. The Byre has an open plan kitchen-dining-living room, and a log burning stove. Outside there is a courtyard area with bbq, outdoor dining table and a wood fired hot tub. The friendly owners are on site but you are assured of your privacy. Dorchester is 15 minutes away, and it’s 25 minutes to the stunning Jurassic Coast.

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

River Cottage, Athelhampton

River Cottage is located in the grounds of Athelhampton House - a Tudor Manor dating back to 1485. Sleeping 6 guests in 3 ensuite bedrooms, River Cottage has a kitchen diner, living room and an enclosed private garden. Dogs are more than welcome. Athelhampton House and Gardens is open to the public all year round - and included in your stay with us are tickets to visit the House and Gardens. There is a Restaurant on site serving morning coffee and cakes, lunches and afternoon tea.
