Our house is situated on a small hill near to the Cerknica Lake which disappears in the summer but offers an amazing insight into its Karst bed. This had been our family home for 14 years until 2013 when we moved to Germany and we love spending our summers there. For us, it is a perfect retreat from the busy life in a big city and we enjoy the calmness of the unspoiled nature around the house. Please treat it with respect! Cottage Ljubica

Our wooden cottage is located in the village Mahićno near the town of Karlovac. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is by the woods where you can take a walk and see a lot of harmless animals. In just a few minutes’ walk through the woods and the meadow you can reach the river Kupa. You can also reach the river Dobra in ca. 20 min by foot and see where Dobra joins the Kupa. Both rivers are very clean and are great refreshment in hot summer days.
