Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

The Bushwhacker cabin is a rebuilt pre-civil war log cabin on 10 acres with spectacular mountain views. The cabin is surrounded by the Monongahela National forest with hiking trails starting from the cabin and a beautiful mountain steam that runs on the property, providing a calming, stress free background. The Bushwhacker cabin is only a short distance to the Marlinton Williams river , 45min to Snowshoe, scenic highway, the Greenbrier,Hot Springs VA, and Lewisburg WV(voted coolest town)

The Bears Den Log Cabin

Perched on the banks of the Greenbrier River and blocks from the Famous Greenbrier River Trail (78 miles). This Log "Bear’s Den" offers everything you could want in a get-a-way. Come enjoy a night by the fire pit, sit on the riverbank and fish, put your kayak in the river, hop on the trail for bike ride, ski the mountains of Snowshoe Ski Resort or simply enjoy the tranquility that our county offers. Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Warm Springs Home with a view

A comfy loft suite for your getaway. Private entrance and deck. Kitchenette -wood countertop, refrigerator under the counter. Microwave, toaster oven, sandwich grill, coffee maker, some dishes/pans. No range. Spiral stairs. The bathroom is open, but around the corner from living space, has a privacy curtain. Tiny Space with a great big view! Right on the Warm Spring! Go down the hill and right in the spring, warm year round. May Not be suitable for older adults, READ on.

Lit'l Country Comfort

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Two (2) bedrooms with queen mattresses & a fold-up twin mattress. A fire pit to make S'mores! Coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate, snacks, toiletries, washing powders & paper towels, are provided for initial stay. PLEASE NOTE: No smoking (outside only) No parties No pets

Mason Jar Cabin Rustic mountain getaway

New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
