Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

Oak Tree Barn is a self-catering holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Hazelbury Bryan, Dorset. The conversion was completed in early 2012 using locally reclaimed materials and keeping many of the original features. The Barn is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer, the detached Barn has a large open-plan lounge and kitchen with views towards the local hills. The two bedrooms (one double with bath, one twin with shower) overlook paddocks where sheep graze and chicken forage.

Although there is no kitchen, you have a microwave and there are 3 village pubs that all offer delicious home cooked food. There is also a fabulous well stocked village shop. We have 2 friendly cats but they can easily be kept out of the space if required.
