Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

The flat was originally the brew house for the property, this 1 bedroom ground floor apartment sleeps 2-4. Situated in the heart of the Peak District between Buxton & Tideswell, it is perfectly placed for access to the Monsal Trail & for the exploration of the many delights of the Peak District National Park. Welcome to our stone cottage built in the 1700's with modern amenities including our spacious hot tub. Situated in the heart of the peak district, close by to Castleton, Edale, Buxton, & Tideswell. The cottage is situated in Peak forest, within close proximity to the village pub, less than half a mile. The cottage has 2 double rooms, 1 bathroom, at downstairs toilet, a dining room & a living room equipped with a log burner. Both bedrooms & living rooms have TV's hooked up with available apps.

Your double room, with en-suite shower room, lounge and kitchenette are self contained. Walk out of the door and be on a footpath within minutes.

Castleton Stunning Peak Cavern Gorge Location

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.
