While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! Welcome to the "Helms Nest", our tiny home mountain getaway, perfect to come back to after a day of skiing or hiking (a short drive to several 14ers and ski resorts). It has a full kitchen, full bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet, and queen sized bed in the loft. We commonly hear that our space is bigger than imagined. It's remote and quiet, but accessible year-round: 2 hours from DIA, 1.5 hours from downtown Denver, and 50-mins from Breckenridge. Large kitchen (w/ fridge and antique stove), barnwood accents, huge 400sf deck, and historic decor from Como's gold rush. Dogs welcome, too.

This is a space of 360 sq. ft., which includes a small kitchenette, with microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, hot tea kettle, and mini fridge. There is one full bathroom; please note that the bedroom and common area, which holds one sofa big enough for two people, is a shared space. This is a tiny house. Quaint and comfortable, and small. Enjoy fresh clean linens, and on cool days, bump the little red gas stove up and enjoy a cozy fire.
