Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so house is yours to use privately.We have no meal service since corona pandemic 2020. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Nostalgic Beach House A private guesthouse in Nigishima, Kumano City, facing the calm Nigishima Bay. To reach it, climb about 50 steps (5 min) for a rewarding view. *Note: not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no TV or clock—disconnect and relax. *Extra fee applies for 2+ guests. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

The Japanese house stands in a biosphere reserve village, upstream on the Miyagawa (Miya River) which flows from Odaigahara National Park to Ise. The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).

かしの木庵は近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩3分という大変便利な立地にあります。 橿原神宮は、日本の始まりの地で、初代天皇の御陵や神社のある歴史的な町です。また緑の多い、自然豊かな所です。近隣には、日本の古代の姿がそのまま残っているような明日香があり、そこには多くの遺跡が点在しています。また、江戸時代の古い街並みが現存する今井町も見所です。 かしの木庵は、築６０年余りの純和風の家屋で、お庭も楽しんで頂けます。台所や浴室等は、リフォームされ気持ちよく過ごしていただけます。 近くには観光案内所、レストラン、居酒屋、スーパー、ドラッグストア、コンビニ、百円ショップ等もあり、大変便利です。 京都や大阪、奈良へも1時間程で着きますよ。

"MINE-no-Yado" Mine own house is a small Japanese style cottage in Mine village where includes Takijiri-oji, the entrance to the sacred mountains of Kumano. The house is at an elevation of 300m. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Kumano mountains, a wonderful starry night and even sea of clouds.
