Sunset Beach House - gorgeous beachfront getaway!

Sunny, spacious and warm with vibrant colour inside and out, Sunset Beach House has a mix of vintage and modern furnishings, and everything you could wish for, for a holiday or getaway at Otaki's beautiful beach. Fully equipped with four spacious bedrooms on a quarter acre section, there's plenty of room to spread out and relax. A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

The Shed - a contemporary annex near the beach

A multi purpose contemporary space. It offers a seperate bedroom and bathroom. In the living area there is a double sofabed, seating and dining plus a 75 inch smart TV and Sky TV. The bedroom has a TV with chromecast . Guests are welcome to use the outdoor area and spa pool located next to the main house. A continental breakfast is supplied. Close to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We have 2 German Spitz dogs, very friendly. 2 adults will be considered a couple unless otherwise stated.

Mount Welcome Shearers Cottage

This is a romantic little cottage with a lovely ensuite and kitchenette. Enjoy a comfy Queen sized bed and cotton linens. The cottage has its own garden next to the homestead. Just moments from the l Escarpment track and the train station making it very easy to get into Wellington cbd (35mins). Our neighbours are developing the land so we are expecting noise this coming summer during the daytime but its sporadic, hence the lower than usual rates. If your dates are unavailable please ask.

Te One - Boutique Beachfront Accommodation

Absolute beach-front in Paekakariki, a Kapiti coast village 40km from Wellington City. Te One is a classic 1970's bach with open plan kitchen & living area, stunning deck, vintage furniture and contemporary art. Only 3 minutes walk to train station, cafe, deli, and an excellent pub/restaurant. Enjoy swimming, beach walks, hiking, mountain biking (our 2 normally available) or just relax on the deck. Unlimited high speed WiFi. Netflix, Youtube, Spotify, TVNZ on demand (no broadcast TV).

Charming self-contained upstairs suite, full of light, with lovely outlook on our beautiful seaside village. Five minutes walk to beach and Queen Elizabeth Park, a wonderful forest and dune environment great for walks, biking, picnics. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.

Seven minutes walk from Otaki Beach. Relax and unwind on your own private deck off our newly built sunny garden guest suite. Our self-contained suite is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We provide a comfy bed and optional cooked breakfast. If you are after a relaxing and warm holiday home close to the beach, you'll find it here. The bach at Waikawa is a new semi-rural property located just a short walk (10 minutes) from the the beach. Set on an acre of flat land, there is plenty of space for games, for kids to run around, or just relaxing on the large deck in the sun. This home has all the essentials including, air conditioning or heat pump, a Smart TV, and unlimited Wifi (Fibre).

Our self contained guest suite is on a quiet street and not far from Raumati Beach shops (3 min's by car/10-15 min walk)...and you are spoilt for choice with cafes, bakery, restaurants, bars and a safe swimming beach.
