The cottage is a bright, spacious, stone faced building. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will need inc. washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The bathroom is spacious with an electric shower. The living area includes a TV and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms one consisting of a double bed the other has 3 single beds. The property has ample parking. The cottage is not wheelchair accessible

Our modern apartment is situated in the picturesque village of Portroe, overlooking the majestic river Shannon and backed by the Arra mountains. It is centrally located to restaurants, pubs and shops. Portroe is situated 11 km from Nenagh and Killaloe and 68km from Shannon Airport and adjacent to The M7 giving access to the whole country. The area is renowned for its water activities which include fishing, boating, sailing and scuba diving.Hill walking trails and cycling are also very popular.

You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

You are surrounded by peace and tranquillity, beautiful hiking routes and the beautiful medieval town of Killaloe on the shores of the Shannon and Lough is nearby. Inside this private hideout there is one bedroom and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a kettle, a mini fridge, a microwave and plates, cups and cutlery for preparing easy and basic meals.
