Recently remodeled with new contemporary finishes, this spacious studio has an open floor plan with lots of natural light. The french doors open to give the studio an indoor / outdoor experience. It’s a perfect spot to read on sunny days or have a glass of wine on warm evenings under the stars. The modern bathroom has a new rain shower head, tiles imported from Spain and a washer and dryer. Follow the pathway to the many restaurants, markets, and bars on Grand Avenue, with Trader Joe's and many other shops also close. Visit the historic Grand Lake Theater and the Morcom Rose Garden, and walk the picturesque shores of Lake Merritt. The home is walking distance to Lake Merritt and all the great shops and restaurants on Grand Avenue - one of Oakland's best commercial strips. 19th Street BART stations is a quick bus ride (10 - 15 minutes on the 21, which leaves less than a block from the house) or a Lyft or Uber ride away. Lyft line usually costs under $5 per ride from the home to any of the BART stations in Oakland. There is parking for one car available at the entrance to the studio. This unique, well equipped, 1 Bed cute little studio (that we love) is detached and fenced off from our main house. It has a separate entrance through a side gate and it's own private rear deck, with a seating and dining area... that overlooks Sausal Creek and Dimond Park. The tall willow that grows along the creek gives the deck the perfect amount of privacy and with the tranquil sound of the creek flowing (not during dry season) you would almost forget you are in an urban city.

Families with up to 2 children are best suited for the loft because of the low ceiling. No more than 2 adults please.
