Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

Yoji Studio Apartment at Yoji Nozawa is a comfortable, bright space featuring a queen bed, full sofa, kitchenette, private bathroom and shower, TV with Apple TV and the soothing sounds of the waterfall that falls into the pond outside the window with the rushing river flowing. Great for couples or young families with small children. The Studio Apartment is also next to the new yoga / fitness studio that is available to Yoji Nozawa guests. 古民家をモチーフにした落ち着いた空間です。リビングには堀こたつ式の大きな囲炉裏をセット、食事やお酒が楽しめます。ほかに４席のカウンターバーがあります。 周辺には野沢温泉スキー場、志賀高原、斑尾高原スキー場、戸狩温泉スキー場などがあり、ウインタースポーツのベースとして最適です。グリーンシーズンには斑尾カントリークラブをはじめ、１時間以内で行けるゴルフ場が８か所あり、日帰り温泉施設も多数あります。オーナーは玄関を上がった右側に住んでいていつでもコンタクトが可能であり、日常会話程度の英語が通じます。グリーンシーズンには自家農園でとれた新鮮な野菜がいつでも収穫出来、庭のあづまやでバーべキューも楽しめます。庭も広いのでちょっとした散歩なども楽しめます。飯山の特産品はグリーンアスパラが有名で５月かの７月まで楽しむことができ、近くには道の駅もあって新鮮な野菜や美味しい蕎麦をたのしむことができます。
