New modern open space, awesome natural light, super cozy with a luxurious king size bed. A gated driveway and private entryway greets you as your arrive at your bucolic getaway. We are located next to a popular Open Space preserve great for hiking or biking. Both San Francisco and the Wine Country are 45 minutes away! Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young lived on this property when they produced their classic "Deja Vu" album in the early 70's. The album cover photo was taken under our special and majestic oak tree and the photo was developed in the dark room that is now the bedroom.

Our place is great for folks who love the outdoors, music, small town charm. We are around the corner from a famous mountain bike trail. A 10-20 minute walk takes you from one end of our town to the other. Including the best ever organic ice cream shop, a deluxe health food store, live music, brew pubs. Fairfax is a destination town with fun boutiques, drop-in yoga, eclectic restaurants including an exotic tea salon, and hundreds of cyclists touring through. Maximum stay: 6 nights.

Please do not order food to be delivered. Check in 6pm but can drop luggage after 12 noon, if arranged IF you are PICKY, please rent a HOTEL. Max weight for the bed is 300, please. Just bought a NEW MATTRESS in Nov. 2020. Separate keyed entrance and private bathroom w shower.

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.
