The Stables - Tunstead Cottages Enjoy the peace of the Norfolk countryside. Our rural, dog friendly cottage on the outskirts of Tunstead. Close to the Norfolk Broads and the coast, yet only 30 minutes from the city of Norwich. The Stables is on an old farm on the outskirts of Tunstead village. In a peaceful part of rural Norfolk with views of the big Norfolk skies, farmland and fruit fields. Cottages have a pool but its on private hire and booking is separate also has a shared games room.

A stunning, high-spec, studio boathouse, with its own mooring, right on the river. This detached, self contained, property sits on a private plot with its own driveway and private parking behind electric gates. Self-contained accommodation overlooking the river Waveney with full kitchen, dining and lounge area (including reclining sofa, smart TV and wifi), upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite. The stairs are very steep (see photo). Allocated parking. Bistro table and chairs outside your door, plus a bench right by the water. Garden Cottage sleeps two people, and has been lovingly renovated and finished into a self contained, private and beautifully presented private cottage nestled in the garden of Emily and Aaron’s home. Located in a residential area of the Georgian town of North Walsham, the cottage is ideally situated for accessing the vibrant city of Norwich, the beauty of the Norfolk Broads and the breathtaking North Norfolk coast line. Only a 3 minute walk to the train station, and good amenities close by.

An immaculately presented two bedroom semi-detached cottage with a large private garden and off-street parking. A shop and a great Indian restaurant within 1/2 mile walk, and a great pub about 1 mile away, however you really do need a car to get anywhere. A quiet location with only a handful of houses nearby. Eight miles from the centre of Norwich, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, 15 miles to the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast. Lots to do, with both city and country life close by.

Ideal for a couple (plus young child) or single person just wishing to get away. The cottage has a large living area with a sofa bed which is suitable for children. A tv and open plan kitchen, table and chairs . One bedroom, bathroom attached. Kitchen - Oven, fridge, microwave. 2 Parking spaces. The local Indian restaurant and pub are both within walking distance.

Lily's Cottage

19th century cottage in 13th century village. Fully modernised with new kitchen/dining room, lounge and bathroom downstairs, with two bedrooms upstairs (main bedroom leading off bedroom at top of stairs - no door at top of stairs into small bedroom). Older cottage type so steep narrow stairs and low doorways. Suitable for couple or with one child. Free car park across the road. 30 minutes drive to north Norfolk coast, local to National Trust houses and lots of walking trails.

The Snug (self contained annex)

Located on the edge of an attractive South Norfolk village, The Snug is a self-contained annex in part of a 17th Century Cottage. The village shop is a short walk away and the centre of Norwich is only a 20 minute drive. This area is popular with cyclists due to the quiet routes and a host of cycle friendly cafes. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom, shower room, dining/working area and kitchenette. There is an off road parking space and bicycle storage if required.
