Ironbark House Dimbulah with Amazing Views

Ironbark House & Horse Riding is situated on the ridge line gazing out across the outback. This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

Our house is one of the most unique houses in Queensland. Located on Bedarra Island,one of only seven houses. It is achitect designed to blend with the island landscape. It is built around the natural rock features of the island and is nestled in the tropical rainforest. The house is north facing with spectacular views of the Coral Sea and the neighbouring islands. We have two secluded beaches where you will often be the only people on them. The surrounding waters are pristine and rich in colour

The Lookout at River Haven is a beautiful and private timber cottage set overlooking the majestic Millstream River. Enjoy nature, wildlife and stunning river views from your deck. Take a stroll down to the most amazing swimming hole ever. Venture further afield to the lovely Innott Hot Springs or the superb Millstream Falls (both 10 minutes drive). Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.
