Going west, it's a quick but picturesque drive to Lake Sunapee Beach State Park (27 minutes) and the quaint town of New London, NH.

If you seek rustic solitude, you'll love the cozy woodland cabin, a pine-paneled one-room cabin nestled in a meadow surrounded by forest and fields, +/- 2 blocks from the house and road. Weather permitting, vehicles can drive to the cabin. Cabin has electricity and heat, but NO running water. Outhouse behind cabin has a Nature's Head composting toilet. Guests may shower in a private bathroom in the main house. Breakfast included. This is "glamping" at its most comfortable and private.

Also enjoy views of the windmills that sit atop Lempster Mountain. Twelve miles from Mount Sunapee. Twenty six miles to Keene, NH. Thirty six mile to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Newport, NH is the closest town, just under ten miles from the house. You are 7 miles from Tony Lorusso’s NHMX Motocross Park.

Escape to the Green Mountains for a memorable getaway! Property only 2 miles off I-89 and under 30 minutes to dozens of restaurants & activities. Anderson-Key farm boasts of 20 beautiful acres complete with a pond, brook, farmhouse and barn. The Vermont Suite is a private studio apartment attached to the farm house on one level with beautiful outdoor living and dining space. NOTE: in 2025 the home exterior was changed to gray with updated new siding.

Our guest studio is close to Lake Sunapee, Mount Sunapee, Pleasant Lake and Otter Pond. You can snow shoe from the front door and skiing, hiking, boating, shopping are minutes away from our quiet home on a New Hampshire scenic byway. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with 1 or two small children are welcome. We have a small sofa bed and a pack and play sleeper in addition to a king bed with a luxury mattress.
