Small own door flat, walk everywhere location

Ideal location for a weekend break or longer summer holiday, less than 5 minutes from the pubs and restaurants of Galway’s Westend and just a 15 minute walk to the beach at Salthill. This is a small own door, studio style accommodation attached to our family home on a residential street. The accommodation only has one bed so is suitable for two adults. PLEASE NOTE: 1. The flat is attached to our family home. You will hear children from time to time. 2. There are no cooking facilities.

The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

Sea View Apartment

Bright and spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking Galway Bay. Directly opposite a wide, gently sloping sandy beach that is generally quieter than the other beaches in Salthill. Only a few minutes walk from Salthill village with it’s vibrant mix of pubs, café’s and independent shops. Galway city center is a 15-20 min walk, 5 min drive or short bus ride. Allocated parking space in secure underground car park (also secure bike parking). Lift/elevator to all floors including car park.

Peaceful house where you can open the door to living room,and step into the private small garden,filled with bird song,plum and pear trees,flowers and herbs. 8 minutes walk to the Latin quarter, city centre,5 minutes to Salthill beach and the lovely promenade walk,along the seaside. Ideal spot to experience the magic of Galway hospitality as well as discover beauty of Connaught region during day trips to Connemara, Aran Islands or Cliffs of Moher.

Quiet and centrally-located apartment 5 minutes walk from Salthill Prom and Village. Attached to the our house with its own entrance, it contains everything you could need for a Salthill/Galway City break. With a bus stop across the road and 20 minutes walk from Galway City it is the best of both worlds - close to the seaside and the city. Next to Pearse Stadium and 5 minutes from Leisureland it is a central location for matches and gigs. Free on street parking available.

Great for sea-swimmers - 2 minute walk to Grattan Beach, or 25 mins walk along prom to Blackrock diving tower. 10 minutes walk to Galway's west end bars and restaurants, and 15 mins to the Spanish Arch. Perfect spot for Film Fleadh, Arts Festival etc.

Many of Galway's best restaurants and cafes are in the area, all doing take away menus until they reopen. Take away pints are available around the corner too! Supermarket and Spanish Arch 5 min walk. Salthill 15 min.
