Arbutus Cabin is situated amongst old growth fir and arbutus trees and is part of Quadra Island’s history. Despite a few improvements over the years, the cabin maintains its character reminiscent of its heritage. Relax on the large, covered deck and watch boats come and go all day or, lose yourself in a book in the over-sized chair in the reading nook. This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Nestled into a beautiful farm and orchard on the south side of Cortes Island, 'Saltwater' lends a deeply restorative experience of the pastoral life along with all the pleasures of the the ocean! The cottage has breathtaking views of Desolation Sound and the Coast Range mountains as well as the mountains of Vancouver Island. The orchard and forest creates a beautiful backdrop and a wonderful place to explore.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
