The Ranger Cabin - Luxury Off-Grid

This cabin is rich with history as it is the original National Forest Ranger Outpost dating back to the late 1800’s. It is the perfect starting point for all your outdoor adventures with immediate access to ATV/snowmobile/hiking/mountain bike trails, endless gravel biking, hunting, and more. A perfect winter getaway, one of the heaviest snowfall areas in the hills. This property is so deep in the National Forest, it is solar powered. However, that does not mean rustic! Lots of parking too.

We have 2 cozy homes at the foot of the beautiful Black Hills. They are perfect for gatherings, vacationers, and workers in the area. Both homes have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleep 6. (although they are small homes) They are two separate homes connected by a middle deck. We also have 3 other listings called Sweet Country Suites Spa Suite, Back Suite, and Bear Lodge. *Note* These are very old homes brought down from CAMBRIA Coal mine with imperfections, but a lot of TLC went into the remodel.

Devils Tower Vista of the Black Hills

This log home is surrounded by a working cattle ranch. The area is peaceful with total privacy. Incredible view of Devils Tower from all areas of the home. Outdoor activities include hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and only five minutes from Devils Tower. Wildlife and livestock can be seen around the property. Warm up by the wood stove on cold days and enjoy dinners on the deck during warm days. All pets must be approved by host before your stay, failure to do so will result in loss of deposit.

Looking to get away from it all? This cozy log cabin sits alone on a rise overlooking fields of sunflowers, where the deer & antelope graze and Kara Creek runs lazily through the valley. Guests are welcome to hike, fish Kara Creek, or fish the 11 acre pond stocked with trout (many over 20 inches) and large mouth bass. JC Stage Stop Cozy Cabin

Cozy cabin in a peaceful, beautiful setting of pine trees and rim rock. Comfortable bedding and towels provided. Grill your meals on your private patio, or enjoy coffee in the pine trees on your deck. This is a DRY cabin, but all guests have hot water on demand for your shower in the shared shower house. Other guests of the resort potentially share all listed amenities. Property owners live on site.
