The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.
