Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Grenache le corsé mordoré gekwalificeerd op 4 Genoemd naar de zeer populaire druivensoort, waarvan in onze regio heerlijke rode wijn gemaakt wordt. Het appartement (66m²) is comfortabel en geschikt voor één tot vier personen. De uitzichten vanuit de salon en vanaf het terras zijn adembenemend. Grenache beschikt over twee aparte slaapkamers. Één slaapkamer is gelegen op de benedenverdieping, de tweede op de bovenverdieping. Beide slaapkamers hebben een badkamer met inloopdouche en een wastafel.

Nestled on the south slope of the Pic du Canigou, Mas Lou Poun is an ancient stone Catalan farmhouse. The ancient Bergerie, is situated away from the main house and has been recently renovated to luxury specs. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake to gentle birdsongs in the forest and meadow. It is surrounded by 9 hectares (25 acres) of private forests, rivers, canyons and numerous walking routes. The Bergerie has access to a natural pool fed by continuously flowing spring water.

Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

The 1700's 'Mountain Village Studio' in Nohèdes (990m alt.) has been fully restored in 2021 with a contemporary interior design overlooking the village square of Nohèdes with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location with a small terrace ensures a quiet and peaceful setting. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.
