Green Hat Stays - Chepstow - Harvax House

This impressive 10-person property offers never-ending luxury in the delightful town of Chepstow. This Monmouthshire town is a fantastic choice for escapes, home to a medieval castle, Chepstow Racecourse and a town filled with cafes, pubs and independent boutiques. It sits at the base of the Wye Valley, with the River Wye running through the town and offering an easy-to-follow pathway. A £750 damage deposit is payable before arrival and the minimum age of the lead guest must be over 25 years.

Oak Cottage - an inclusive peaceful haven

A very central yet peaceful apartment offering gracious rooms. Although this is part of our home, when guests come they have exclusive use of these rooms originally set apart as my mother’s annex. The large lounge has comfortable furniture and opens to a small kitchen with room to dine. The two bedrooms have bathrooms - upstairs bedroom has limited headroom and the bathroom is separated by a curtain. Sunroom opens to a shared pool May to Sept and has two sofa beds. To preserve the peacefulness and for H & S reasons Trealy is an adult only space.

Set along a small country lane 1,000 feet above sea level, the cottage has breathtaking views and makes a wonderful base for spotting buzzards and red kites. Climbers, walkers and mountain bikers will have plenty to explore. There are numerous walks from the cottage, with the summit of Sugar Loaf offering panoramic views over the Cotswolds, the Brecon Beacons and the Bristol Channel. The thriving town of Abergavenny (4 miles) has a fantastic range of great pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

A beautiful and original 1900’s Showman’s Waggon in the heart of a traditional welsh farmstead close to the Offas Dyke footpath. This Waggon has been sympathetically restored retaining many period featured including a magnificently painted ceiling. It is completely off grid without compromising on comfort or facilities. It has a wood burning stove, an induction hob, kettle and cool box. There is a separate bathroom with shower and state of the art compost loo.

A delightful two bedroom cottage detached from our property set in an idyllic, unspoilt valley overlooking a large natural swimming pool. Located in-between the towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth and nestled within view of the black mountains from our lane. We are close to the Offa's Dyke and the Three Castles walks. 'The Halfway' pub is 3/4 mile down our lane. Abergavenny is known as the ‘food capital’ of Wales and boasts some superb restaurants nearby.
