Wake up with the sound of the roosters, and with the beautiful view of the mountains of Huehuetenango. The villa is located 10 minutes away from the Pan-Americana main road. There are attractions like the Ruins of Zaculeo, 45 minutes away, or the famous Panajachel area, 3 hours away. The house is located across the road from a 1 1/2 acre private park for your enjoy. Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
