Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). The cottage is a lovely grade II, listed, historic, thatched cottage. It's in a conservation area which is also in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are lots of great local country walks. It’s also a central base to visit all that Dorset has to offer; from beaches and beauty spots to country towns. The Crown pub is in the centre of the village, only 5 minutes walk away. Our Sports and Social Club has a a bar and play equipment. It is on the left at the north end of the village

Located in an AONB of Dorset, we are surrounded by plenty of stunning countryside centrally located between the historic towns of Sherbourne and Dorchester, which is also only a short drive away from the Jurassic Coast.

Self contained detached cottage in a tranquil location close to the famous 'Jurassic Coast' ; Durdle Door, Lulworth, Corfe Castle, Weymouth and Dorchester are all a short drive away. Further attractions close by are Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, and Sculpture by the lakes. There is a well stocked village shop and good village pub. Dorset has so much to offer, with beautiful coastline and breathtaking scenery. Relax in the pool at your leisure!

Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, Butler's Rest is a stylishly renovated, quirky 19th Century cottage. Perfect for a romantic escape. In an unspoiled part of the New Forest, deer roam through the gardens, a short walk from three wonderful pubs and the open forest itself. It's a great setting from which to explore, although with a well equipped kitchen and cosy woodburner, you may not venture anywhere!
