This peaceful and private apartment comprises of the whole lower ground floor of a Georgian mansion house just off the A82 set in an incredible nine acre woodland garden with a riverside walk up to a beautiful loch. There is a spacious living room with wood burner and large kitchen with aga cooker and dining. The bathroom features a double ended bath and shower. Glasgow City centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond are within 15-20 minute drive from the house which has private, secure parking.

Spacious studio with direct access to garden and beach and fab views of the bay and Holy Isle (no traffic). The studio is within a seafront bungalow and has a king-sized bed with optional third bed. It's a nice hideaway for a couple, friends or young family. Local cafes, hotels and shops are a 15 min walk. Perfect for walkers, cyclists & birdwatchers. The host is a local artist and conservationist who helped create the Arran Marine Protected Area. Good to book Calmac ferries at the same time.

Cosy cottage has been fully refurbished in 2023 to a very high standard to give a first class experience to guests in the heart of the village, in a quiet location. The cottage is a few minutes walk from 2 great pub /restaurants, coffee shop and convenience store. Bus stop to Glasgow and neighbouring villages is also a few minutes. The location is great for Glasgow airport only 7 miles, loch Lomond is 20 miles away and the ferries on the coast are only 15 miles away that go to many islands.

Situated in Loch Lomond National Park, Findlay Cottage is a perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy everything in this beautiful part of Scotland. We are situated on the John Muir way with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Findlay Cottage is the entirely separate annexe of our house with private entry, field and private parking. This 1850s character property consists of a shower room with WC, 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom that can either be set up as single, twin or superking and shower room on the first floor, and a double bedroom with en-suite on the ground floor. Fully equipped modern kitchen complete with white goods, electric cooker and microwave. The living room/dining room has a large dining table to seat 6, a wood burning fire, smart tv, DVD player. There is also a seating area in the garden.

Shepherds Cottage - The Plan Farm close to coast

The Shepherds Cottage is situated on the south end of the Isle of Bute. Can sleep 4 adults, and one infant, or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs. 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the West Island Way and St. Blains Chapel. A 15-20 minute drive gets you to Rothesay. An ideal place for walkers, or families for adventurous holidays. On a working farm with sheep and cattle, so expect some sounds and noises at times.

My cottage is situated in the heart of the conservation village of Houston which boasts several good pubs and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Only 10 minutes from Glasgow airport and 20 minutes to Glasgow city centre means it would suit both business persons or tourists alike. My place is ideal for those wishing to explore the Clyde coast and nearby islands of Bute, Cumbrae and Arran. In addition Loch Lomond is a mere thirty minutes drive away.
