We are 40 miles to Appalachian Ski Mtn. and 55 to Sugar and Beech Mountain.

We have highland cattle, goats, ducks, pigs, Rufus the donkey, and more! Explore the 6+ miles of trails on the property, with the mountain summit featuring expansive, gorgeous views of the foothills. Unwind in the evenings with a glass of wine on the porch or a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

Cabin in the Woods

The Cabin is at 2,500' elevation, ceiling fans to keep you cool. For winter, central heat or fireplace keeps you warm. Full kitchen. Our place is very quiet. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, New River, the Wilkesboros, West Jefferson, Boone (30 min.), Virginia Creeper Trail (1 hr.), W. Kerr Scott Lake. We think you will enjoy the coziness and mountain views. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. We do not allow children, pets, smoking or outdoor fires.

Majestic Mountain Getaway: Home in the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC, a private community with breathtaking mountain views. Our home is close to the Kerr Mountain Reservoir and some of the best mountain biking, hiking (Warrior Creek, Dark Mountain Park), and disc golf courses (Rolling Pines, Fort Hamby Park, Ashe County Park) in NC. We are close to the towns of Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro...Merle Fest! Relax, breathe the fresh cool mountain air and enjoy the natural beauty.

Blueberry Hill Cottage: town and country

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services Amazon and Netflix. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from the private rear deck or walk the 2.6 acres of grounds, part landscaped, part garden, and part natural. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged per stay.

Moonshine Mini-Mansion. Enjoy the NC foothills!

Welcome to our Moonshine Mini-Mansion. The home is on 8 acres in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina and has just the right amount of every season. Only 30 miles to Boone and 6 miles to Faithfest and Merlefest! The entire home was refurbished with all new finishes, new paint, soft close cabinets, and new flooring in 2019. This is a cozy house, and it is on land aka 'in the sticks.' Due to it being out in the country, you may see a bug or two!

Fram’s Place

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This home is a relatively new build in a completely private location. Spend the afternoon rocking on the porch (you might be joined by the resident kitty cats!) and the evening roasting marshmallows at the fire pit for s’mores! You're only 25 miles from Boone and the High Country and just moments from local shopping, attractions, and restaurants at this residence! There are also two TVs for your enjoyment.

Whether you are in town for the historic Wilkes Motor Speedway, one of our music festivals, our awesome mountain biking trails, skiing in nearby Boone or Banner Elk, hiking the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway trails or just to enjoy nature and small town life you've found the perfect spot!
