The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. This individual Annexe is situated near the wonderful market town of Coleford in the heart of the Forest of Dean, which has all the amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable and is an ideal base to explore the area. There are many places to visit, such as, Puzzlewood, (walking distance), Clearwell caves, Symonds Yat and the Wye Valley. There is a footpath that leads directly from the property into the forest so you can enjoy walking and biking. There’s also two 18 hole golf courses nearby.

Lambsquay House - Apartment Two

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

Squirrel Lodge is a pine scented slice of heaven in the Forest of Dean. Well equipped and situated overlooking a meadow and has direct walks into the forest and onto the Bream Heritage Walk. Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Highclere Studio set in the Forest of Dean

A studio apartment set in the village of Sling, near Coleford in the Forest of Dean. A short walk into the forest with lots of peaceful walks or cycle tracks. Only a 10 minute walk from Puzzlewoods and Clearwell caves. A short drive to nearest town with all amenities. Within a 5 minute walk to 2 pubs that offer delicious food. The studio is cosy and warm and very clean and well equipped. All bedding supplied and towels. We also supply toilet rolls, shower gel and soap.

Tucked away in a remote spot over looking the Golden Valley , this peaceful retreat is the ideal place for your weekend getaway . Only 2 hours from London Spring Cabin is quiet and secluded with the countryside on your doorstep. The cabin is attached to the hosts property so is not entirely self contained but has a fridge , toaster and kettle for your basic needs . There is an outside lounge area with barbeque and fire pit for romantic evenings watching the stars .
