Large window, covered deck, outdoor seating and fire ring give you space to commune with nature. With a full and twin mattresses, it is Bring Your Own Bedding so come with sheets, pillows and/or sleeping bag. The structure is heated. Private outhouse near-by, bring a flashlight. Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Whether you're in the Twin Ports for work or play, our little getaway is the perfect place to unwind. (Let us know if you're bringing the kids! ❤️) Fix up a snack in the kitchenette or relax on the full-size futon. After that, settle into a comfy queen-sized bed after a luxurious soak in the jetted tub! Amble down to nearby, kid-friendly Billings Park, or we're just a short drive away from anything in Superior or Duluth, including shopping, the arts, and our gorgeous Lake Superior!

Beautiful house in the woods!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Each unit can be accessed from its own driveway and entrance, or from inside the building. Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms, bath, kitchen, living and dining rooms. Downstairs you’ll find the laundry room (complete with soap and softener), and another complete unit. 2 min to Spirit Mt. 10 min to Canal Park!

Fiddlehead Farm Yurt

Enjoy privacy with the city just 5 minutes away. Nestled in a grove of aspen, maple, and birch, our cozy yurt offers escape from the city and protection from the elements. Enjoy a short walk on trails through our woods or find the Superior Hiking Trail and COGGs trails less than a mile away. Relax by our garden. The yurt has a deck and chairs, a seasonal screen door to enjoy the breeze, a woodstove, a propane cookstove, an outhouse, and a bucket sink.
