Welcome to our house in Horner West Virginia. Our property is perfect for hunters and fishermen, as it's a short 5-10 minute drive to either Stonewall Jackson lake or Stone Coal lake boat launches. We have ample space for parking a boat, so you can easily explore the lakes. Additionally, our home is in close proximity to the Stonewall Jackson WMA, which offers 18,000 acres of public land for hunting and fishing. Come and experience the great outdoors in WV while staying in our welcoming home!

Get comfortable with mountain views and fresh, clean air at 3,200' altitude, close to Canaan Valley/Blackwater Falls State Parks. Also, Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob (highest point of WV). Lots of hiking/biking trails. Unique shopping in Davis and Thomas with a variety of restaurants. Fast food? An adventurous, scenic drive goes to Parsons, with the only McDonald's and traffic light in the county. Relax on the back deck to view the horse pasture and the small private airport.

Relax in the hot tub, hike, Bring your ATV’s/UTV’s - ride for miles down local backroads. Plenty of space to park your boat or trailer. Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more.
