Tommy Rough Shack

Tommy Rough will be your new home away from home! Perfect for a couple, but can accommodate up to 3-4 with the use of sofa beds. Retro styling, updated amenities, and all the comforts from home - just downsized, slowed down, and simplified. Pets welcome, fenced and secure back yard. She’s a little “rough around the edges”, hence the name, but is safe, comfortable and charming. Your perfect couples getaway only 2 hours from Adelaide. Our place is a 1 km walk to the pub, shops, and Jetty.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

The cottage is located in the grounds of St Clement's Anglican Church circa 1863 now a private residence. Only 23 kms from major rural city of Pt. Pirie. Cottage is self contained and would be described as bright and fresh set in an Australian native garden with undercover car parking.

Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. A bright open plan living area, with the kitchenette equipped with a single burner induction hob and microwave.

The 1862 waterfront Heritage listed Wallaroo Customs House is now available for you to experience, recently renovated and restored. Spacious living areas inside and out providing: three comfortable queen bedrooms, with ocean views, a stylish new kitchen with ocean views, and two beautiful heritage styled bathrooms. Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities.
