A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Post Box - Cosy tiny house

A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

The property is ideally situated close to local attractions including the foodie capital of Cartmel and the southern shores of Windermere. Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park.
