Only ~15 min to DCA, monuments/museums (7.8 miles to the Washington Monument), SW Waterfront, Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill (20 min).

The Kohler shower head in the bathroom offers firm pressure and the mini-fridge & microwave are on hand for snacks. Short term rental license no. STR25-00162. This is a finished lower level of a townhouse in a quiet Oakton, Virginia suburb of Washington DC. The private entrance side is above ground. The large French doors allow lots of light in. We are located half way between Regan National and Dulles airports with public transportation to both. The bus stop is 50 yards from the door and the bus trip is less than 2 miles to the Vienna/George Mason University Orange line metro station. You will have key to the private entrance and laundry room.

Just off 66 and bike path, 6 min drive to DC. This is an inlaw suite on the second floor of a family house and we would prefer quiet professionals. There are 20 wooden outside stairs to climb to get into the unit. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. We look forward to hosting you!

The apartment has direct access to a private patio, where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The general atmosphere is cozy yet it has a contemporary feel thanks to its bamboo floors in the bedroom and modern tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. No smoking is allowed in the unit.

Beautiful and very private home in one of the most charming neighborhoods, walking distance from the metro, Walter Reeds, NIH. The place is very quiet, yet super close to all the buzz. Enjoy your privacy in a separate basement apartment with a private entrance. The beds are designed with exceptional comfort in mind, featuring Leesa mattresses and pillows. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, rice cooker, small food processor and all the necessities.

"HideAway" Private basement near metro, shops & DC

Just 15 minutes to the heart of DC, this fun, safe area is a walker's paradise with plenty of local restaurants, shops, parks and bikepaths making it easy to plan your visit. "The Hideaway" offers Free Parking onsite and is renovated with new appliances and eclectic 1940s adventure decór. Please note, this is a private basement studio apartment in a single family home. We live upstairs with our pre-K son who you might hear in the mornings and evenings.

You get everything you see in the pictures, a private suite ready to welcome a last-minute reservation. If you need to check in early or check out late, the host will try to accommodate you when possible. A $70 extra fee applies for a guest who wants to use the second bedroom. It is currently used to keep bedding and linen. It remains locked. The host will always knock or text before entering the living room on the first floor.
