Nestled amongst the trees on our 52 acre farm in beautiful Chisholm township is our Chickadee Pod. Recharge your nature batteries in our off grid pod that comes fully equipped for your basic needs and right on Wasi Lake. Steps away you can enjoy canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Take in the sunsets, walk the trails, nap in the hammock, roast some marshmallows, paint a picture, read a book, listen to the birds, the trees, the wind. Leave connected, peaceful and rejuvenated.

Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

This unique place has a style all its own. An upside-down architect-designed cabin in the woods; the bedroom and full bathroom are on the 1st floor and the kitchen and living area are on the 2nd, and in between is a 14ft high bumped-out daybed area for lounging. Tastefully and richly decorated with all the mod-cons, and plenty of windows for natural light. There’s a wood-burning stove in bedroom. It’s very private, on 100 acres, with shared trails thru out. Take the canoe for a silent paddle and have a small campfire in the pit.Fall is when our region really shines. Cooler weather and vivid leaves are spectacular. Peace and quiet are yours in our tiny cabin perched on the edge of our private lake. The cabin is heated with a propane fireplace if required .Winter activities usually begin in January.
