Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Independence in your own place - Hayloft is hidden away at the end of our 17th century farmhouse and is a special place to stay. Step inside to find the kitchen with heated stone floors and beams overhead. In the living room there's space to eat, full bookshelves and a wood burner for cosy winter evenings. Upstairs is a galleried bedroom with a large 5 foot king bed and a bathroom with deep free-standing bath and large walk-in shower. A retreat from it all in your own Yorkshire bolthole.

A stone built single story cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Close proximity to the renowned and much visited Aysgarth Falls with many walks from the door step along with other visitor attractions within the Park. Dog friendly. 2 double bedrooms. Ample off road parking. The cottage has been tastefully refurbished with wood floors throughout, a traditional open fire and bespoke hand painted furniture, mixing modern with tradition. Foxup House Barn is a converted one bedroom farm building, totally self-contained to the side of our house. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

Thorneymire Cabin

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: horse riding, mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms .
