Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Walking distance to Indiana Wesleyan University, Wildcat Stadium, and more. If you’re in town for a campus visit, or to catch a sporting event at IWU, this is the place to be! Small home with many updates on a quiet, dead-end street. All the amenities to stay for a long period of time if necessary. Wi-fi, washer/dryer, full kitchen. Bed size is a QUEEN.
