During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Mafube Mountain Retreat Garden Unit near Clarens

Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

Wake to stunning mountain views from bed at Gentle Presence Cottages! This Cottage offers self-catering for 6 and has been lovingly decorated using a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings to make guests feel right at home. Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

Our holiday home features three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and two double bed bedrooms, one bathroom in the main part of the house and an additional bathroom past the kitchen next to the office/study. Additionally, it boasts a semi-open plan kitchen, living room with large windows overlooking the conservancy and access to a generous patio. The house is located on the edge of Bester street right next to one of the walking trails and conservancy.

This holiday home comprises 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, each fitted with a shower only. One bedroom has a double bed, the other, two singles. The home features a fully equipped kitchen, and a living and dining area. The house features a balcony overlooking the Maluti Mountains, equipped with a gas braai. There is one garage, and the living areas are accessed via a flight of stairs.
