It is 22 mi north of Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, 25 mi west of Ft Robinson and the Post Playhouse, and 70 mi south of the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for a quiet relaxing getaway or a convenient midway stopping point on your way to the sights. Wireless internet: 15mbps. TV with Roku and DVD. City pool is close by. There is a washer but no dryer.

Established in 1997, Benhaven, known as "The Cabin", stands as a testament to craftsmanship, having been meticulously constructed by family and friends. Nestled on a picturesque hillside offering stunning views of Glendo Lake, the cabin boasts four queen beds and one and a half bathrooms. Adorned with a spacious wrap-around deck at the front, guests can immerse themselves in the natural splendor surrounding them. The only television provided is an older model located in the loft.

The bathroom has a remarkably cowboy/rustic sensation. The mini-kitchenette is stocked with a limited amount of commonly used every day provisions. Relax with the family at this peaceful rustic A-frame cabin on 5 private acres. Situated near the base of Laramie Peak in the Medicine Bow National Forest, public lands right out your back door. Setup for family fun with game room, outdoor activities and plenty of spaces to relax. Please note: There is no Wifi or cell service at this property. Guest must go 3/4 mile to Esterbrook road to get service.

The cozy cottage is 2 blocks from downtown Douglas where you will find restaurants, bars, a movie theater, boutique shopping and at certain times of the year outdoor festivities.
