Pod One - The Crofter's Snug - NC500 + sea views!

At only five miles from the popular John o Groats signpost, Jo and Karina would love to welcome you at one of three cozy self-catering glamping pods at The Crofter's Snug - lots of local area info on our website. Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

Lindisfarne is a newly renovated detached rural house with light, relaxing spaces. Living areas enjoy outstanding views over the Stenness Loch. Perfect for those with a passion for wildlife, history or who enjoy a spot of fishing or someone looking for a central base for a family holiday with plenty of outdoor space in a large private garden.

This converted building in the picturesque village of Melvich has been recently renovated and has amazing sea views including the Orkney islands! Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

A spacious self catering property with 2 en-suite bedrooms. Both bedrooms can be either super king or twin beds. A fully equipped kitchen gives you everything you need for your stay whether eating in or going out for a takeaway. Centrally situated in Kirkwall means only a 3 minute walk to the marina, harbour and the main street where you will find shops, cafe, restaurants and bars. All bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi included in the price. Short stays welcome.

Welcome! This is our quirky wee cottage. Originally a traditional Scottish but and ben it now offers a cosy getaway in the far north highlands. Taigh Neonach is Gaelic for odd cottage which suits its slightly unconventional character. A fantastic base to explore the North of Scotland, whether you are touring the NC500, relaxing in the quiet wilderness of Caithness, doing a spot of fishing, shooting, walking, cycling... the choices are endless like the views!

Croft View

Fully equipped accommodation with two bedrooms (one double room, one twin room). Melvich is situated on the NC500 route and is ideally placed for exploring the local area. Local pub within walking distance serving evening meals. Booking is advised. Free Wifi available, however we cannot guarantee a reliable signal. Lovely beach nearby which is popular with surfers. Please note due to increased costs, guest now have to pay for the electric they use.

It has all amenities on it's doorstep, walking distance to all shops, pubs, restaurants and the Cathedral. Parking nearby. Bedroom 1 can be either superking or twin bed and maisonette bedroom upstairs is a king bed.

This thoughtfully handcrafted house features some very unique fixtures and fittings adding great interest to your stay and the fishing heritage of Stromness is a key feature. This cottage is in walking distance of all local amenities but situated in a quiet part of the town with private parking.

Located in the most northerly village on mainland UK, with coastline walks and beaches in abundance nearby. A special place to explore or simply relax and unwind.
