This is a 1st floor standard hotel room with a king bed in the Bluenose Inn. This room offers a large picture window but does not have a bay view. The Inn is located in downtown Bar Harbor on historic Main Street across from the Village Green. Walk to everything the village has to offer. Leave your car safely tucked away in our private parking space while you explore town, or take a quick stroll across the street to catch the Island Explorer into Acadia National Park.

Our innkeeping-family has been welcoming guests to the the Blue Hill Peninsula of Maine since July 4, 1889. We are perfectly situated directly on the saltwater of the Reach and the freshwater of Walker Pond. The Oakland House has two private ocean beaches. In the distance, you can see the Pumpkin Island Lighthouse and even the Camden Hills! Our guests also have access to the Blue Dot and Yellow Dot trails that lead up to a phenomenal view of the waterfront from Lookout Rock.

We are also walking distance from downtown Boothbay Harbor where you can enjoy many shops and restaurants.
