Welcome to the Mendes Chalet. Our mountain home is Tucked away yet only 15 min from downtown North Conway, Cranmore Mountain Resort, Echo Lake, Silver Lake & King Pine Ski resort. We designed our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom around peace. Hang out by the fireplace to relax and unwind or sit outside on the oversized deck and breathe the fresh mountain air. Also do not forget to explore the wonderful ski resorts and shopping outlets which are very close by! Our home is the perfect retreat for any season!

In the winter, the Chalet is situated between ski mountains: Cranmore Mountain & Pleasant Mountain. There’s also close access to Snowmobile trails. Winner of Maine Homes Small Space Design Award 2023 We are located on the private 80-acre Shapleigh Pond in the Southern Maine, an hour from Portland and two hours from Boston. Experience a bygone era in this restored Schoolhouse circa 1866 with many original details such as oversized glass-paned windows, wood plank floors, chalkboards, tin ceiling and more. Just a two-hour drive from Boston and you're ready to experience crystal clear rivers, pristine lakes, covered bridges, majestic mountains, picturesque hiking, and numerous local attractions and parks.

Wren Cabin + Wood fired Sauna

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.

20ft from the Water with Mountain View!

This cozy cottage sits 20 ft from Pequawket Pond. We are the only cottage in this association that has 2 floors and directly on the pond. It has a spiral staircase that leads downstairs to the bedroom downstairs with walk out access. We are located within minutes to the Mount Washington Valley and all the amenities the valley has to offer. Ski resorts galore! We also have a kayak and 2 paddle boards available for our guests to use!
