You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. (bike shed pencarrow com) (the boatshed days bay com) Buses go every 30 mins to Wellington City and Lower Hutt city. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. Enjoy a relaxed stay in Point Howard, at the start of Eastbourne. Looking for something different? Our beautiful Ian Athfield designed home, has a self-contained annexe with its own entrance. Admire the stunning harbour views that take in the harbour entrance, the Eastern Hills and Wellington City's coastal suburbs. On a fine day the Kaikoura range peaks can be seen. Suitable for 1 or 2 people, the annexe is a lovely space with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Access road is steep and narrow:)

Tucked away in Waterloo, 5min walk to Open Polytechnic, our private guest studio is cosy & comfy. Your own entrance & outdoor area in the trees & native bird life. A very comfortable king bed, ensuite bathroom (shower has great pressure!) & everything you’ll need to make a cuppa or heat dinner in the microwave. 2 minute walk to Riverside Drive, Waiwhetu stream & Te Whiti Park. Our self-contained, studio apartment is on a quiet street facing the Waiwhetu stream. The space has queen size bed with high quality linen & a heat pump to keep you comfortable all year around. Things to do Walking/running & cycling. (Te Whiti Riser) coffee shops, Mall. (see overview for more) There is a functional kitchen, with oven & all cooking equipment. Own driveway, very safe. The area a is ideal for those needing to work or check in with work. 10 min walk to Woburn train station.

The Fifth Room

Easy walk to Jackson St shops, cafés and restaurants. Petone Beach and Railway Station within a 10min walk. Percy's reserve and walking tracks close by. Wellington city a 10 min drive (off peak). The InterIslander Ferry is a less than ten minute drive off peak. Perfect to catch an early morning Ferry, or late afternoon disembark. Supermarkets, specialty stores, cinema and pharmacies. Petone pretty much has it all including a Kmart which is quite literally at the end of the street.

Breakfast included in quiet & peaceful suite

Private mini studio; bedroom, bathroom and breakfast area which is completely separate from the main house in a beautiful bush setting in Lower Hutt. TV with Free View, and Chrome cast We do not have a kitchen or cooking facilities in the suite. It is a bed & breakfast only. There is a microwave for reheating. Plenty of eateries in Lower Hutt, Petone &beyond Parking: Free on-street parking, on quiet, safe road opp. our shared drive - with a street light. Off-street unavailable. 🌈🌈
