Mount Tamborine is a stunning environment, on top of the range 40 minutes drive from the Gold Coast. At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. This beautifully renovated Camp Wagon complete with bogies sits on 4 acres with Canungra creek frontage approx 1 km from town With a fully equipped kitchen, original copper water tank , beautiful timber floors and lovely arched ceiling it has a comfy queen bed, smart TV and air conditioning. Outside a few steps down is a characterful private ensuite, fire pit with seating, bird baths, water feature in lovely lush surrounds . Beautiful views of mountains, countryside , birds and wildlife.

Great little restaurants and coffee shops. Parking is undercover off street, at the top of our driveway on the lefthand side of the garage.

Gilston Orchard is a rural property 9 kilometres along the Nerang Beaudesert/Murwillumbah Rd from Nerang. We are at walking distance from Hinze Dam with its View Cafe open each day. Easy access to the Gold Coast glitter strip, beaches, and theme parks. Also easy access to Binnaburra (O'Reillys), Springbrook, Beechmont, Mt Tamborine plus further out West to Canungra, Beaudesert etc. This is a nice spot from which to bike ride with a mountain bike track just across the dam wall.
