Relax and unwind in our custom-built, one-of-a-kind cabin. Nestled on a forested hill above our main cabin, it sits on 4 acres of private wooded land bordering Mount Hood National Forest. The cabin is designed for year-round comfort, including air conditioning for warmer summer days. A perfect getaway for couples looking to spend a romantic weekend in the woods or a home-base for those who are here to enjoy everything Mt. Hood has to offer. ***IMPORTANT***From December - April we maintain access to the basement apartment unit from Friday-Sunday (ski season!). This is an entirely separate unit with separate entrances. Escape straight to the 70s in this woodsy retro cabin, a true gem perched in the trees in Rhododendron near Mt. Hood. Imagine relaxing in the hot tub under the stars listening to the seasonal stream babble below!

Treehouse in Stevenson, WA Columbia River Gorge

Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.

Secluded Mt. Hood Cabin Retreat

Escape to the Burke cabin near Mt. Hood, just 3.3 miles from Highway 26. Step out the front door to sweeping Mt Hood views, a 7-acre open prairie, and easy access to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and outdoor recreation. Sleeps 6 with a queen bedroom and loft with queen bed + futon. Features a full kitchen, clawfoot tub, and fire pit under the stars, perfect for a Mt Hood getaway, romantic retreat, or outdoor basecamp. Pets welcome with additional fees.

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

With modern style, a stocked kitchen, and soft linens, it’s the perfect year-round escape for couples, friends, or families.

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.

The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
