In the winters enjoy a huge wood burning fire place and watch the snow fall in the big picturesque front windows & tall open beamed ceiling. We are located in a quiet neighborhood to decompress from the hustle and bustle.

Timberwood Cottage in Downtown Twain Harte

Set out on an adventure and return to a retreat of peace and relaxation just 54 miles to Yosemite National Park west entrance (additional 25 miles to Valley), 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pincrest Lake. Open the front door to the cottage to find a bright space which beautifully showcases the locally harvested Sugarpine beams and trim work. Nestled in the Pines yet close to all amenities downtown Twain Harte has to offer, you will be immersed in natural beauty both inside and outside.

Get away from it all and relax in this beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain setting. Spacious, clean, quiet & secluded 1.5 miles from downtown Twain Harte. The apartment is on bottom floor with a separate entrance, full kitchen & 1 bedroom with queen bed. Near hiking trails, 20 min. drive to Pinecrest Lake, 35 minutes to Dodge Ridge & skiing, local wineries, snow play, State Parks, Caverns and more. Twain Harte has a golf course, Disc golf course, tennis & pickle ball, mini golf course & more.

Cottage at the Broken Branch

Experience the historic Gold Country and Yosemite national park staying in this newly renovated 1800s mining cabin. Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. It's about an hour and a half to Yosemite and only minutes from downtown Columbia and Sonora.

Haven in the Trees

Welcome to Haven in the Trees! I am grateful to share my little piece of joy with you and yours. You will be staying in a lovely warm comfortable studio complete with a wee fridge, microwave and all you need to enjoy a light meal. You can relax outside on a private deck absorbing the sounds and sights of nature or you can take a five minute walk into the quaint village of Twain Harte where you can enjoy an espresso, many delicious restaurants and unique shops. We use the cabin ourselves on a regular basis, so you will find it comfortable and well equipped. The cabin is surrounded by tall pine and redwood trees and we often have deer paying us a visit in our front yard. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

October in the Sierra foothills! Fantastic weather. Yosemite is open despite gov shutdown. We are a 1 hour and 50 min drive to the entrance gate. Oak Nest Cottage is a quiet retreat on 5 wooded acres. The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.

Quiet and Rustic family cabin located at the end of a cul-de-sac in quaint Mi-Wuk Village. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom in its original mid century modern vibe. Warm up in front of the wood burning fireplace, sit amongst the trees from our high perched deck. Make this your home base for hiking, fishing and swimming in the Sierras. In the winter, ski at Dodge Ridge or go sledding. Excellent wi-fi and zoom calling capabilities.
