Welcome to the lake Garda! The B&B Locus Amoenus is a historic former rectory building dating from the XVII century. With its newly renovated interior, you can enjoy both the stunning 16th century exterior with a modern and comfortable interior, therefore giving you the most rewarding stay. The friendly and quiet atmosphere will allow you to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. One night’s stay includes breakfast (with homemade cakes), bedding and towels a housekeeping service (cleaning of room) and wi-fi. A third guest can stay for 21 euro. Breakfast will be served by Gabriella and Silvia in the tavern or in the garden under the shade of a majestic persimmon tree. The small village is located 5 km from the Lake Garda and Salò, a delightful little town situated on the stunning Lake Garda; which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy. The B&B’s location is also located less than 2 hours from the ‘Dolomiti of Brenta’ and is therefore ideal for those who enjoy walking and hiking in the mountains. For those wishing to visit cities with great art, then Verona (60 km), Venice (170 km), Brescia (30 km), Bergamo (82 km), Cremona (85 km) and Mantova (75 km) are also easily accessible. From Salò or Gardone Riviera you can reach the picturesque towns located on the Verona side of Lake Garda by ferry-boat with Navigarda service. The village offers a 50 km bike path which can be reached from Lake Garda, Lake Idro and Brescia; therefore you can enjoy the idyllic Italian landscape. The small village offers many amenities such as a small park with playground, a Benedictine church, a bar, newsstand/ tobaco shop and the prestigious acupuncture clinic. The bakery also produces a range of fresh, delicious bread, pizza and focaccia every day. Also close by (700 meters), there are two supermarkets, two pizzerias and restaurants, a pharmacy, clothing stores and many other amenities you may need during your stay.

LAKE AND MOUNTAIN...B&B AL POZZO

Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

The Walnut Tree B & B is located in Zana, a hamlet in the upper part of Abbadia Lariana on the eastern shore of Lake Como. We are one hour away from Milan, 2 and a half km away from Mandello del Lago and 3 km away from Abbadia Lariana. If you arrive by train, we can pick you up by car from the train station of Mandello or Abbadia Lariana. The part of the house given over to the B&B has been sensitively restored and has the character of an old country house, complete with a balcony with views over the lake. The two rooms have private bathrooms. In summer you can have your breakfast served on the terrace in the garden. A few kilometers away is the town of Varenna, where boats depart for the lake. The whole area is known for the famous mountain "Grigna", a wonderful place for walking and climbing. If you enjoy motorcycles, be sure to visit the museum of Guzzi motorcycle. Abbadia is the perfect place to swim: there are no private homes that overlook the beautiful beach. A simple comfortable and bright house, with a large living room, furnished with charming pieces. Each room leeds to a balcony ending in a rounded terrace built on a huge erratic rock which gives the name to the B&B. From there you can enjoy a beautiful sight of lake Como, its beautiful mountains, the ruins of an ancient castle and its village. At any time you can sip a drink in the terrace listening to the sweet sound of the stream flowing a few metres aside. In the evening the fresh breeze coming down from the valley makes your relaxing moments fantastic, after your baths in the lake, your trekking, your boat trips in the wonderful sites all around Nesso. B&B “Masso Grasso” is in the ancient center of Nesso, a village half way between Como and Bellagio. The “Masso Grasso” is the ideal place for those looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature and beauty. The house is in the ancient part of the village. Its charme is intact.
