Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. Winnow Cottage is set in the idyllic North York Moors National Park. Dating back to the 1800s, the cottage has an open plan living and dining area with a kitchen and two en-suite double bedrooms. Patio doors lead out to a private decked area with views of the moors. The cottage is dog-friendly, 2 dogs welcome and accessed via a 1/4 mile rough single bridle track. There are many walking and cycling routes from the cottage and it is well-situated for exploring beautiful North Yorkshire.

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!

In the grounds of the property there is a paddock with seating and barbecue area, with a view of the ocean in the distance and surrounding countryside.
