Although secluded, the cottage is close to the charming victorian spa town of Strathpeffer and the market town of Dingwall. The picturesque fishing town of Ullapool and Ben Wyvis, one of the easier Munros, are both a short drive away. There are many wonderful walks, cycle tracks and fishing lochs close by.

This beautiful cottage is set in private gardens in the centre of Strathpeffer, a village steeped in history and famed for its spa waters in Victorian times. The Cottage was originally a doctors surgery in the early 1900's, then In the mid century was a tea room. Since that time it has been a private home. The perfect place to stay whilst exploring the highlands or driving some of the NC500.

Quiet central Strathpeffer location, convenient to all local amenities. Own front door entrance and parking area. Lovely woodland walks from the door. Nicolson Cottage is cosy yet spacious with plenty of room for up to 5 people. Annexed to the owners home and set in the peaceful courtyard grounds of Mackenzie House it makes a comfortable, well equipped base for a relaxing Highland holiday.

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
