Only a mere 3 minutes stroll to witness Sunset Point's stunning sunsets! Soak up the picturesque views of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and the untamed Hokitika beach. The CBD is a short 2 minutes walk where you can immerse yourself in local cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, craft galleries, copper, gold, glass and pounamu studios.

Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, the ground floor Studio has its own private entry. Secure bike or ski storage are availible by arrangement. New Black Diamond Mondo bouldering mats are available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 singles or 1 couple with young children.

Heat pump, gas powered hot water along with Sky TV, Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Wifi. Smart TV gives you access to online content as well as Netflix plus more. 50 inch Smart TV's in both the lounge and bedroom. 2 minute stroll to the Glowworm dell in one direction and the beach in the other direction. Easy, flat walk to town approx. 1.5km away. Private parking.

The Nest at Hurunui Jacks (outdoor bath & firepit)

So much more than a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around a private fire, take a bike on the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Set on 15 acres of private land, Hurunui Jacks has the Nest and a glamping tent nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. A small private lake, historic water race & the Kaniere River are on your doorstep.

Located only 3km from Hokitika town and beach and 3km from the airport.

Local walks including Hot Pools and 2 of NZs oldest Rimu trees. The local café closes around 3pm so if you are passing through Hokitika or Franz Josef you may want to get food from the supermarket. We are unable to offer early check-ins or late check-outs

You’ll love this place because of the ocean outlook,privacy and fantastic places to explore nearby. The house can be used as upstairs fully self contained 1 bedroom apartment for a couple or as 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom,2 living room house for family or couples.

The Church House

This older style 3- bedroom home doesnt get any closer to Hokitika township. Located right in the CBD, it is a couple hundred metres from every amenity you need....the beach, restaurants, New World, shops etc etc. It has a large private backyard, with seating, fireplace and BBQ area. Please note: this house DOES NOT have a table & chairs and dishwasher.
