The city releases these non biting bugs in spring to control the mosquitoes, but by the end of summer there are billions of them in the area.

Private Basement Studio Hideaway

Basement studio is located near the hospital, Oregon Tech college campus, downtown and several restaurants. Build completed in January of 2022 by owners. There is a TV and strong Wi-Fi is available. You may hear footsteps from overhead walking as original hardwood is a bit creaky in spots. This is the original 1930s McAuliffe cattle ranch, and the house was run as a bed and breakfast and fishing lodge for 20 years. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalyn were guests here!
